Given that this is a fanfiction and not the original Freezing (obviously), there will be a LOT of tweaking here and there with certain characters throughout this little project of mine.  Technically, Maria IS alive, in a state of suspended animation within the Ravensborne Nucleotide at West Genetics (though admittedly, she's not exactly "out and about" like others within the Freezing universe).  I've decided to have her alive and physically active in this story, though she'll be largely behind the scenes for now, more-or-less like Gengo by comparison.  Anyway, glad you're intrigued.
