Great chapter. Was that an Elsira reference with the elves?

Author's Response: Elsira and the surprising number of fantasy stories where the elves seem to like shrinking humans lol. Obviously my stories are all fairly lighthearted affairs in comparison to their native canon.

This is a real fun story. I like all the characters and dynamics that each one has. James trying to figure things out and it causes him to lean on Carol more which is the source of shrinking. Excellent!

I do hope that the solution or attempts at a solution is Carol breastfeeding him or if he gets really small, to put him in her womb

A truly great, multilayered story.  There are so many different things going on that the reader is left guessing the next chapters of this terrific story.
