Interesting idea. Gentle but not boring sounds great to me. Will we get any further clues on what causes this phenomenon every year?
Author's Response: That's the most challenging part when planning ahead this story. How to make it interesting without casualties :)
As for the cause, I have an explanation that might or might not make it in the story. We'll see!
