As unlikely as, say, the posting of chapter 49?
Author's Response:
I have a bit of chapter 49 written. I'm trying to get closer to finishing some of my other ongoing stories before I continue this one.

This is a lovely concept and I see great potential here. I love Peter and Lisa's relationship though I still believe that, storywise, the really important thing is his relationships with his family. So keep at it, my good fellow. This story is very entertaining. I'm looking forward to see new chapters!
Author's Response:
Glad you're enjoying the story.

Maybe Erica is the scholastic equivalent of a cougar who likes to go "slumming."
Of course, only the next chapter will answer that question, pro or con (HINT-HINT)!
Author's Response:
I guess anything's possible, though probably not quite likely.

Nice chapter.. Like him being in the teachers hand. And for a long time. Blue seems nice. Things are going so well that something will change that. Nice job.
Later,

@FreemanCD: Cal is on my short list of unlikely suspects (as the Phantom Pete-napper) because he might actually be Erica's new boyfriend! And, if he has the mindless hots for her, he might be willing to do anything for her. Even aid and abet in scaring Pete out of public school!
Author's Response:
Hehe. Maybe a liiiittle bit of a stretch, since Calvin is not only 2 years younger than Erica but probably a little too uncool for her.

A nice, cheerful interlude. I love it that Pete's got more than one female friend!

Thanks!

Not to cramp (heh) anyone's style, but I think holding one's palm flat to support and not jostle a five-inch-tall person would start to hurt after ten minutes, let alone after an hour-long rehearsal. I love handhelds, but I'd like the holder to enjoy it as much as I do.
Also, handhelds are awkward in any situation where people are expected to applaud. Jack needs to find a happy pocket.
Author's Response:
It definitely would start to get sore after that much time. Luckilly he won't be in an audience member's hand during the applause.
