What's wrong with this girl? Doesn't she know that if anything happens to Peter SHE is the obvious suspect? Why is she so focused on him anyway, he didn't even really do anything to her other than tell people the creepy shit she'd been doing before. I'm starting to see why Peter's mother is a paranoid mess all the time, how is it THIS easy for these thing to happen to him?

You're absolutely right to think this about the risk Mandy is taking, and it's something Peter is counting on as well. While there's still a fairly regular danger that Peter will be in harm's way, we'll see soon that this was not a mere random act.
