The winner was the princess?! Will "wonders" never cease!

;-D

Author's Response:

After this bit of satire for one more chapter, the real fun starts tying all my earlier plots together.

A-ha! Triplets, and a high-tech device. Nice plot twists.

Author's Response:

And he was trip-trip-tripped up by them for a while.

That's why "comical" comes before "cop" in the dictionary. Police officers have no sense of humor!

Author's Response:

Australian police have a record called "intelligence reports" which one of my friends thinks is a contradiction.

Well, if he's not going to be vengefully shrunken by what fantasy fiction authors call "True Magic," then I can only assume Ms. Sinclair will turn out to be the heiress to some kind of chemical company. ;-)

Author's Response:

Another example of better shrinking through chemistry?

*Trying to picture Ms. Sinclair as a magician's assistant in high heels, top hat, and half a tuxedo-with-tails.*

Oh, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Author's Response:

I was thinking more of a 1970s long dress than a Zatanna-esque outfit, although I do like her original costume.

From kid-bit to tidbit. How humiliating!

Author's Response:

A review with a rhyming pun. How clever.

It was the John Steed version. A fifth season episode entitled "Who's Who???"

As for this chapter; brilliant!

Author's Response:

5th Season. Must have been colour with Emma Peel. I do remember that the final episode of that season had a great plot for this site; Steed being shrunken by a device and rescued by normal sized Emma Peel (surprising for a usually down to earth show), and not so useful for us, the reverse scenario when he gets his full size back and she's shrunken later in the episode.

He's only going to be shrunken to child-size, then? A slight departure from your usual repertoire. But, if you want to be novel, that's your right as the author of the piece!

Author's Response:

Well this story is more satire than fantasy, just for something different.

I was wrong???

*Snaps fingers in half-serious disappointment.*

Author's Response:

But it's nice to be fictionally surprised.

I'll bet he'll answer: "Yes! Most unforgivably so!"

Author's Response:

Mind over manners, the philosophy for this character.

I think I remember this plot from an episode of the 1960's "Avengers."

Author's Response:

I'll have to watch that. What's it called.

Thanks for the advance warning about the previous legion of chapters. I'm now off to the next one.

Author's Response:

btw, by 1960s Avengers, did you mean the Grantray Lawrence Marvel Super Heroes cartoons which adapted Avengers comics into the solo characters' serieses, or the British series with John Steed?

Awwwwww! It's so nice that he's coming more and more out of his shell.*

*Ba-DUM-boom!

Author's Response:

I do use that pun in a chapter title actually. Nice job avoiding the retooled chapters. You'd have noticed very little difference. This is the place for previous readers to be up to.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Author's Response:

Well if you follow the cues in chapter notes, you can skip most of them...

I love action-packed flashbacks!*

*I just can't _recite_ the phrase three times fast.

Author's Response:

Well I just posted chapters 32-71. But 35-70 are retooled versions of short stories I took off the forum, so that they fit in with the continuity of this story. I made sure chapter 71 went up to keep the new stuff only readers hooked (and why not, since I'm up to chapter 124 in my own manuscript of it now)?

Date: July 24 2014 4:38 PM Title: Chapter 28: THE PERILS OF YAWNING

GTS-Gene?! Is that the Marine Musician's real name?*

*Serious question, this time.

Author's Response:

No, actually the early chapters of Captain Miniature (which were done years ago, long before I finally recently got back to this story) explained (in satire of X-men), that guys with the gts-gene had the genetic ability to shrink and teleport and grow back to normal size. Women with the gts gene have the ability to grow to giant size and shrink back to normal size. All of them have some variation of vore fantasy too. Some of the women are also able to teleport to parallel earths, at least from certain points, like the Garden Gateway, but the chapters dealing with parallel earths are yet to go up.
