Actually, I took it from Revelation which says that the serpent (=Satan) took a third of the stars (=angels) from heaven when he warred against God. They became demons. Hence the puns on occult and other influences caused by the devil such as Newager = New Age follower etc.
There were two levels of puns in these chapters: those based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and those based on Bible prophecy code.
