Unlike with Claire, this work chapter was tainted by the knowledge Bridget is going to go back home and torture a potentially innocent woman. And seeing how she's staying the course without any doubt, this is only going to end badly for both parties. It's hard to feel sorry for Bridget because she's doing this on such filmsly evidence.

I was hoping the parallels with that chapter in Consequences would be felt, so thanks for point that out. It is definitely supposed to feel a bit darker here, though, given the differences in circumstances.

This chapter kinda felt like filler to be honest, not that theres anything wrong with that. Im sure you'll bring some of this stuff up in the main story.
