I'm back again! Caught up with the story, really getting interested in things now that we're seeing more of the resistance.
I feel like there HAS to be a scene at some point involving one of the goddesses rampaging through resistance HQ, possibly hunting for Artemis or just trying to destroy them in general. I can see it already, one or two of the goddesses capturing random shrinkees as they stomp around, trying to cause as much damage as possible.
I think I just really want to see Artemis emperiled, like, she's the strong, confident leader of the resistance it would be pretty damn hot for some airhead giantess to find her and capture her, though ultimately I want things to end well for her and her sister. But doesn't mean we can't have some fun sexy time on our way there right? 😉

That was a really interesting interlude!Seeing how the resistance lives and what happened to Anabelle's sister was really cool. Also, totally called that the commander was Anabelle's twin hahahaha Is she going to help Anabelle or will she abandon her as not to risk the future of her people?I dont think is as binary as that considering Anabelle has been hinted as being important for shrinkies and more than just a normal type 0 so her survival and not being used by the organization, but we'll see. Still rooting for an imprinting ending, and for Zoey to get her just desserts hahaha

I'm glad you liked seeing the resistance's HQ. I wanted to show how they're able to pull off so many of their missions against the BSA. And good on you for guessing Beth's identity.
We'll see about that imprinting ending, and Zoey is most certainly returning.

Another great chapter, even without an appearance by any of the Princesses! I am worried now, though, that this story is going to have a happy ending lol. That would be the worst outcome in my mind 😂 guess we’ll have to wait and see! Always looking forward to another update to this story!

Well fuck, we've got quite the little lore dump here.
Artemis joining Jax in the bad ass metal arm club. She was truly brave for risking death amongst drunken sorority chicks to try to rescue her mentor. Many tougher and bigger people have died in that sort of den of terror.
Byte is quite the good kid for being the one to bring Anna being her sister to her attention long before Gray planned to. He's got a seemingly bright future in the resistance if he makes it that long.
The hammer drop was slightly expected by still welcome to see Anna has such a fierce ally in her war against the Foursome. It's gonna take all her sister has to fend off those lionesses when the time comes.
Not sure what she could've done about Zoey though, I don't even think the Foursome would cross her.
As for the dying words I trust her to make the right decision when the time comes. Anna is incredible at holding her own so something tells me she might figure a way out without needing Beth's help or endangering her troops too much.
Beth's a great and necessary character to this tale. She brings the weight of her people's plight vs saving her flesh and blood from a nightmarish hellscape. Seemingly whatever side she choices will come with immense hardships and perils in her life.

Haha, I didn't even go into super detail of the metal arm yet. Still holding off for that one. And yes Adamx, Annabelle's courage is nothing compared to her sister's who has faced off against the powerful Courtney and Kourtney. The Formidable Four, who?
And yes, Byte really cares for Annabelle, and is a bit frustrated with her sister's denial.
And Annabelle has gone eight(ish?) years without her sister and she's survived so far. Beth may be surprised to see just how sturdy her twin is.
Beth definitely has a choice to make--and that choice may be not to choose at all. Either way, it's hard times ahead for the Cooper sisters.

I am happy to see an update, and personally I really liked this interlude. I think Artemis is an interesting character, despite her obvious denial (even before Grey made it clear she knew he was lying, it seemed pretty evident that she knew that Annabelle was the pet in question but didn't want to admit it to herself).
Really like the shrinkee world you have created, I think it's neat, the HQ, their little gadgets, and their capability despite their size. I already said I liked Byte for his competence, so I like to see even more of that. I feel like it's not something you see really often in stories like this, where the smaller characters are usually perpetual victims with little agency.
Look forward to seeing more with Bet and Byte and more of the story in general. As for what Beth will choose, I say why not both?

I also think Artemis is interesting. She's had a fascinating and unique life, and she's experienced a lot of different things. You'll see how that's shaped her in later chapters.
And I really thought hard about the type of civilization I wanted the resistance to exist in. There's just so much an advanced society provides in terms of plot. And don't worry Byte's skills will be appearing again. His skills in question showed up in chapter 34. It was super subtle and sneaky, but it'll be discussed in upcoming chapters so don't worry if you didn't catch it.
An yeah, maybe Beth can have her cake and etc, etc. Or maybe she'll have to choose...we'll just have to see.
