Heyo again folks, got your weekly chapter here. Also a bit of an update. I recently wrote something of a side story for aLiR for Guireyart's Summer of Size collab event. That story will eventually find its way here, but for folks interested you can read it here: https://www.deviantart.com/sizezine/art/Summer-of-Size-2021-886448145

Definitely check it out if you have been enjoying the story, and on that note I hope you all enjoy this chapter too!

[Handplay, Object, Teasing]

---------------

Her hopes had been raised only to be smashed into microbial pieces underfoot. Only for a change it wasn’t Tina who had done the stomping, but her fiery-haired friend Amy.

The stars had aligned in a way nobody could’ve predicted, certainly not Eva. Someone had not only noticed that something was amiss, but they had even figured out the who, what, and how behind it. They had cornered Tina within their own home, coaxed the truth out of her, and even had Eva quite literally within their grasp. It was only one step removed from the perfect storybook ending to the tragedy that had become Eva’s life.

And the bitch sided with Tina.

The rest of the evening proceeded with the two giants giddily exchanging information; Tina, happy to finally have someone she could speak to about this, and Amy, driven by a researcher’s lust for data. Together they went back and forth filling the other in with Eva all but ignored despite being the main focus of the conversation. Oh, she was occasionally addressed or given the odd poke or prod most certainly. In particular she recalled an extensive window where she started trying to protest the conversation and was promptly silenced by the grasp of Tina’s toes. That particular annoyance lasted over ten minutes.

All in all, though, Eva had little part to play in the proceedings. She was an afterthought. Left as an distant observer to two titans discussing her future, and what a nightmarish future it was beginning to sound like. She had no choice but to watch the trainwreck play out throughout the night, each gigantic woman feeding into the other. Things played out well into the night before Amy finally deigned to leave. Everyone turned in for the evening and Eva was met with a blissfully dreamless sleep. One far too short for her liking.

Only a few moments seemed to pass before the sun rose on a new day. Despite all that had happened, Eva was back in her little fishbowl and once again huddled against the bitter cold of a pile of discarded coinage. Nothing had changed. She shuddered not at the cold metallic touch, but at the memories of the night prior. Where two half drunken women oh so casually informed her of what she had been secretly suspecting for some time now. That the reduction had altered her physiology to accommodate a smaller stature. That, on a scientific level, she was indeed no longer human, but closer to a hybrid of different creatures. Even if she on some level knew something was off, it was yet another kick to an already downed woman.

That accursed redhead was more than happy to delve into uncomfortable details that in hindsight Eva wished she could unhear. The nature of her body. The extent of the punishment she could take. Things she could still do and things now lost to her. Amy made suggestions for different ways Tina could take care of her plaything; and much to Eva’s chagrin the mousy giantess proved most receptive to them. Hours had passed and the stark revelations still haunted poor, pitiful Eva.

CL-DONK!

Ah, speak of the devil. That was the familiar noise of a door shutting. Her tormentor had returned from whatever morning errands she set out for. “I’m back Evie!” Tina’s voice called out melodically, zero trace of the devastated, defeated woman who nearly broke into tears the night before. With her fears assuaged and a new ally in her midst, it seemed as though it was back to business as usual. With one noteworthy exception: that damned childish nickname.

“Welcome back Miss Tina...Bitch.” Eva growled under her breath.

The giant of course hadn’t heard her. She was much too busy lugging a curious number of shopping bags into the apartment living room. More than she usually did after heading out, and after the previous night that was...concerning. Normally, this was the sort of thing where she had gone grocery shopping or the like. Except Tina had already done that not but a few days prior. So what the hell was this? As Eva tried to get a glimpse at the bags in her owner’s hands, Tina blitzed by, already almost a mile out after a few steps. Whatever she was carrying was swiftly beyond Eva’s view.

Whatever it was, Tina brought it all back towards her bedroom and by the sounds of it stayed busy for quite a while. Frustrated grunts and cries accompanied the nigh endless series of explosive footfalls. Troubling, but there was little Eva could do about it from within her prison. She was the proverbial caged bird; and all she could do was brace for whatever would follow. As she always did. With Miss Tina it was never a question of if she would come for her plaything, but when. All in due time. The inevitable would come before long. Best to rest until it did.

Peace reigned for the better part of the hour before the door opened and Tina’s slight yet nonetheless towering figure strode into the room, showing little fanfare or reservations about simply plucking Eva up between her fingers. Not altogether that long ago this alone was enough to make the giantess giddy with anticipation. She would fidget with Eva’s body and stare at her pet in mesmerized awe. Now it had become uncomfortably normal for the both of them. Even Eva didn’t bother wasting the energy to fight the pudgy digits. There was maybe something a bit sad about that, but it was preferable to the alternative of giving Tina an excuse to punish her. Not that she ever needed one.

“Sleep good Evie?” Tina boomed.

“Stop calling me that.” Eva groused. “It’s not my name.”

Tina giggled, unperturbed. “Gonna take that as a no then.” Her fingers dexterously slid towards her palm and deposited the smaller woman, fingers closing as a sort of barrier while Tina ventured back towards her room.

If her living room with the occasional plush toy and its expansive library of games and movies was a prelude, then it was Tina’s bedroom that was the main event. Even after repeat visits, the mere sight of it was enough to make Eva wince. Adorning a fair-sized bed were dozens of plush toys, all different assorted fictitious animals from one of those children’s cartoons the giantess was so fond of. One where the animals fought for the amusement of children or some such lunacy. Off to the side was a black desk with a laptop atop it, bookended by matching bookshelves that sported a wide array of figurines of characters Eva didn’t recognize in the slightest. One of them, this blonde woman in a Victoria-era dress, seemed a personal favorite of Tina’s as she had the most figures and even a poster along the wall.

This was the room of a child, and by her estimates Tina was fast approaching thirty.

The new additions along the floor, however, were what caught Eva’s eye. The bags from before, now empty and with assorted half-used supplies among them. She spied an adhesive tape, one of the desk drawer organizer sets the office often used, and a large emptied box for...a light?

Eva had little room left to wonder what any of that meant before Tina seated herself at the foot of her bed and held her hand out in front of her. As ever, her features had a way of filling the sky and every little breath was akin to its weather. The gust of warmth offered the slightest comfort as Eva stared uncertainly upward. She was once again reminded how it wasn’t that long ago where Tina wove between apprehension and out of control excitement at the mere sight of her. Now, hers was a face casually confident in her authority.

“Hard to believe it’s only been what, a couple weeks?” The giant mused.  “Sure has been rough, hasn’t it?”

Eva snorted and rolled her eyes. “What, so now you’re going to claim to feel guilty? After yesterday? After everything?”

Tina shrugged. “No, not really.” The woman’s eyes listlessly drifted to the side. She was honest at least. “The only thing I kinda feel bad about is the leg press, but everything else? No, I’d say that wasn’t too bad. Just...” Her gaze wandered aimlessly, the giant letting out a meaningfully hesitant hum. “Um...How should I put this…?”

Eva crossed her arms and scowled expectantly. What was it gonna be this time? Some sort of new trick? Another hellish game she came up with? Or maybe an attempt to make amends for something? A bit late for the honey after she had treated Eva with the stick all this time, wasn’t it?

“I…” Tina began. “I don’t...want you to just be scared of me? If that makes any sense?” The woman stared down. “I can be a really nice owner you know. You just gotta be...you know. A good girl? Do what I say? Don’t be so mean?”

Oh this was just fucking rich. A good girl? Just ‘Do what she says’? More of this pet nonsense. “And I’m supposed to just assume you’ll stop stepping on me and crushing me every chance you get so you can get off? As if.” Eva snarled with contempt.

“I mean, I’d do it less.”

“That’s not the fucking point!”

Tina didn’t appear to like that tone very much. Her fist clenched around Eva and the woman felt an all-too real pain from all sides as she was trapped. There was little more than a thin pocket of space allotted Eva before the hang began to rattle her around, Eva smacking into thick walls of skin for several long seconds. Beyond her hand, Tina let out a vaguely annoyed breath.

“You know, I would’ve thought you’d get the memo by now Evie. I mean, you are smart. This isn’t a debate. I’m just telling you how it is.” She leaned back into her bed, head resting on a harem of plush animals and short hair splaying out as she idly tossed Eva towards the ceiling. And again. And again. Strangely enough, it became a rather one-sided conversation after that. Perhaps if Eva stopped screaming through the air she would’ve been able to explain why.

“Personally, I’d think you’d be grateful. All things considered, I’ve been pretty nice. Don’t you think?” The giantess mused. “I won’t act like it’s been easy or anything but...it could always be worse you know. All things considered I’ve been pretty patient, and if Amy’s gonna help me take care of you then you gotta realize it’s kinda pointless to keep fussing right?” She sighed, catching Eva and dangling the woman over her grand visage. “Is it really that bad being my pet? Even if it doesn’t seem like it, I do try my best to take care of you. You never starve or hurt for water right?”

“You shrank me and started treating me like I was dirt!” Eva rasped out, dangling over Tina’s mousy features.

“You aren’t?” Tina blinked. Then she tossed Eva into the air again with a short laughed. “I’m still getting used to it too, but believe me. For everything I’ve done to you, there’s a thousand things I hold back. You can’t begin to imagine what this is like. The power. It’s just…” She bit into her lower lip and shuddered just thinking about it. “...Amazing.”

Yes, well that was an idea that worked both ways. Just as Eva had no idea what it was like to be in Tina’s role, Tina couldn’t imagine this helplessness. Kind or not, a merciful hell was still hell.

Eva fell flailing through the air, and rather than catch her, Tina’s fingers partly missed, sending the shrunken woman spinning. A quick gasp followed as the giant’s eyes widened and she craned her head right as Eva careened to her stomach. The resulting impact was...rather unpleasant. Eva’s raven-haired form smacked into what felt like a solid wall - one of Tina’s abdominals. Characteristically rock hard and hidden beneath the veil of a dark-colored shirt.

“Sorry.” Tina muttered shyly. She allowed the woman a moment to regain her senses and straighten herself out. Then...

“You’re never gonna grow back you know.”

A flat statement delivered as directly as it could. It reverberated in the sky with no playful chuckle or vindictive smug behind it. It was just a fact. One Eva processed as she slowly picked herself up - and as Tina focused down upon her in turn.

“I’m not gonna let you.” Tina proceeded. “There isn’t a path here where you get to grow back and return to your old life. Not at this point. I’m your life now Evie. I know it, Amy knows it, and you know what?” She reached over, finger pulled back, and idly flicked the woman off her stomach. “You know it too.”

That slight little finger flick was enough to send the smaller woman flying for dozens of feet. She careened across the expanse of Tina’s magnificent body and off to the side, soaring right into one of the myriad of colorful plush creatures lining the bed. Its fuzzy fur served to soften what could’ve been quite a painful landing. Eva groaned amidst grass-like fur, picking herself up atop one of its stubby legs. Nearby, Tina lazily rolled onto her side, hand propping up her head as she watched. Watched...and loomed.

“Y-You’re lying!” Eva snarled. “People will search for me! They’ll find out what you did Miss Tina! Then I’ll be back to normal and you will rot in a fucking cell!”

“The only one lying here is you Evie.” The giantess sighed. “All the proof you need is right there. Even when you’re screaming the same stuff you’ve been screaming since day one, what do you call me? ‘Miss Tina’.” She smiled. “I did say I’d break you.”

“That’s not…”

“It is.” Tina cut her off. She reached over and seized the plush toy by its head, lifting the building-sized doll while Eva fell to the bed below. “You can argue all you want, but when I say something you listen. When I want something from you, I get it. The only one still holding onto this stuff is you.” Her hands held the toy by its arms and she stood it up, waving its hands around playfully as even it towered over Eva from on high.

“Aw shucks Evie, why don’t you stop being such a little stick in the mud and join the rest of us toys? Miss Tina promises to love you lots if you do~!” She puppeted the plush doll and raised her voice as if it were speaking to the shrunken woman.

“I am not a toy!” Eva yelled at the doll for some reason.

“You’re not a very good toy.” The doll nodded its head in agreement. “You always say such mean things. That’s why Miss Tina keeps stepping on you! If you just do what she says she can be nice! If you don’t…” With some skillfully puppeteering, Tina had the creature’s stubby leg angled over Eva. “...Then gosh it’s just gonna get worse ain’t it?” Tina’s morphed voice boomed as the doll’s fuzzy foot came down.

“I’m not-!” Quickly realizing what was about to happen, the smaller woman turned and ran. It made for a surreal scene, scrambling across the folds of a blanket as a plush toy lowered a stubby leg towards her. Compared to being crushed by Tina herself it would’ve almost certainly been nothing, but if the alternative was to endure such ridicule willingly then there was really no choice was there?

She hurried as fast she could, but the simple reality was she never stood a chance. The toy’s foot hit her and buried her under a pillow of blue fuzz, twisting into Eva and pinning her between yielding felt and the softness of the bed. As it lifted, Tina angled the toy towards herself, still puppeting it.

“She isn’t a very smart toy Miss Tina.” It whispered conspiratorially.

“She isn’t, but she will be.” Tina nodded.

“Wanna know what though?” The doll was brought towards Tina’s ear. “I think she likes you.”

“Aww...How sweet of you to say Mr. Cynda! C’mere!” Tina smiled broadly and hugged the cutesy creature against her ample bosom, eyes falling to the displaced Eva along the bed moments after. “In all seriousness Evie, we don’t have to have such a bad relationship. You might not believe me, but I don’t like seeing you so miserable all the time. I would rather have a happy pet! Like Mr. Cynda here!”

Putting aside the utter disgrace of being casually compared to a lifeless stuff toy, Eva picked herself up and glared at Tina. “I’m never going to be your pet. If I give up, then you win; and I refuse to let that happen.” That’s what all this was after all. Just the latest in a long line of ploys to beat her.

“I’ve already won.” Tina set her doll aside and plucked Eva up. “How long it takes before you realize that is up to you.” The woman sighed, looking somewhat disappointed. “Ugh, sorry. I didn’t wanna sit here and argue with you. At least not today.”

Between the impromptu game of catch and whatever she wanted to call that nonsense with the plush toy, Eva sure couldn’t fucking tell. “Fine, I’ll bite. What did you want?”

“To give you a gift.” Tina answered. With the woman in hand she flipped over, kneeling towards a bedside dresser where she opened the top drawer. Within was a somewhat disorganized array of underwear and socks, but there was something else there too. Eva blinked as she took in the surreal add-ons. Sequestered near the woman’s bundled socks there was a sort of cylindrical light adhered to one of the dresser edges. Nearby, one of the desk organizers Eva spied earlier laid there and also seemed adhered in place. The organizer had a few openings almost like doorways, and each ‘room’ seemed to have a clear purpose. Cloth to rest on. An area to eat and drink. It…

...It was a home.

“Amy said the bits of plant DNA spliced in to help shrink you means this light should be able to work like sunlight and feed you like a plant, but I’m not so sure.” Tina explained. “So I tried to give you a little kitchen area.” The woman looked to Eva, her smile surprisingly sweet despite what she was saying before. “It’s not much, but it outta be way better than that old change jar right?”

Eva had expected...Far worse actually. More punishments or some new kind of game, but no. This was...An actually kind of thoughtful gift. Still absolutely dehumanizing, appallingly so in fact, but it remained a surprisingly sincere gesture. A honey instead of the stick approach perhaps, but a rather elaborate one. There was almost a feeling of appreciation welling in her chest. Almost.

“We can try to improve it as we go. I’m still trying to work out what decent clothes could be for you short of actually shrinking stuff, but ah...What do you think?” Tina asked.

She thought a lot of things. Eva thought of telling the woman to go to hell. Of saying this was a sick joke. She debated spitting in Tina’s hand and adamantly refusing. All of which seemed questionable ideas that she would regret immediately. In the end, the woman sighed. “...Thank you Miss Tina. It’s a step.”

The giant blinked before slowly smiling with a happy glint in her eyes. “See? Was that so hard? Now if I could just get you to be so cooperative when I ask you to rub my feet or something it’d be smooth sailing.”

Don't push it.”

Tina shook her head with a smirk. “Oh Evie, what did I just say?” Her fingers curled around the smaller woman in a firm, yet gentle embrace.

“I always get what I want.”
