Author's Chapter Notes:

Remember kids, your sister becomes mountain-sized, your mental state may plummet a little before you get used to it.

About 20 minutes after Ava left, Rachel decided to go and check on her brother. She found the MH (micro house) sitting where Ava had put it, on the edge of Lio's old desk. She also noticed it was glistening slightly in the sunlight... an effect of the miniscule layer of saliva Ava had inadvertently coated across the structure. Rachel rolled her eyes and sighed, Ava would always be the same. Hopelessly trying to get her brother's attention while the lad just thought they were close friends. Yes, Rachel knew. Of course she did, she knew before Ava herself knew, when the pair were still teenagers. The brunette smirked, perhaps her little brother would finally realise Ava's true feelings now that she was a mountain.

"Hi Rachel." Lio called from his house, sitting on his doorstep. Despite how stunned he had been at Ava's goodbye-kiss, he had managed to get himself dressed. Rachel's eyes shifted to her brother, smiling once she made contact.

"Good morning little brother. I take it your morning's been great so far?" she cooed as she sat down in the office chair. Unlike Ava, she didn't lean forward. That was neither better nor worse. Her face was far further up, but at least he could see her torso as well. She was wearing a loose, white t-shirt, and earlier he saw she was wearing grey shorts. Yes, it was summer, but Lio also knew Rachel simply liked showing off her incredibly long yet shapely legs, even if no one saw them.

"And what would make you think that, dear sister?" he asked, pretentiously innocent.

"Well, for one, you only slept in your new house once and it's already got an Ava-flavoured saliva coating." she replied coyly, smirking as she crossed her arms.

"Ah, yes. Well, I'm sure it'll dry naturally. I'm more worried about the scent staying around. Turns out she prefers cirtus-flavoured mints."

Rachel shook her head a little, unable to believe her brother sometimes. "One day you'll be old enough to understand women's social cues. But I fear I may not be around when you finally get it."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Lio asked, standing up in his doorway and looking up at Rachel's face, far away like a distant peak.

"Case and point." she replied with another smirk on her face.

Lio knew he wouldn't be able to make Rachel explain. He never had been able to do so, why would now be any different? So, he decided to touch on a topic he hoped would catch her off guard. "Right. Anyway, I hear you and Ava have been gossiping behind my back. How long's that been going on, hmm? I thought my conversations with both of you were private."

Rachel didn't show any signs of surprise that Lio had hoped for. Of course not, Ava had informed her of this. What could one man, Micro or not, do against an alliance of incredibly smart yet cheeky women?

Nothing, but he hadn't figured that out yet.

"Let's see.... I'd say around the time she truly started feeling at home here. So, since she was 16, after the surprise you threw her. And they are. But let's face it, both of us can read you like a bedtime story. For example, you are both surprised at Ava kissing your house, and at the fact she didn't try and take you with her anyway."

"How do you know this stuff......" he muttered in amazement and annoyance. "Is it a skill you get when you're the older sibling?"

"Nah, it's called being a woman older than 14. Anyways, you want some lunch? Breakfast for you I guess."

"Uhm, yeah, that'd be nice!" Lio said, stepping away from his front door. Rachel just raised a curious eyebrow, her eyes shining with playfulness that had been reawakened in recent weeks.

"And where do you think you're going? By the time you've walked there, it'd be midnight. I'm not carrying you alone either. We need to test if carrying the entire MH at once is truly safe and comfortable. So get your butt back in there mister."

Rachel's tone was playful yet serious. With her last sentence, she uncrossed her arms and reached towards the MH with her right hand. Specifically, her thumb and index finger... that's all she needed. Lio quickly hurried back inside and closed the door. Then, he softly cursed that Rachel's "scare tactic" had worked. He'd gotten his butt back inside at a much faster pace... While there was 0 chance Rachel would lift off while he wasn't safe.

But he was safe, so he felt darkness cover his house as Rachel's thumb and index fingers grabbed the MH. He quickly hurried to a room in the center of the building. It was perhaps one of the strangest factors of the MH. The center was essentially a round chamber with two floors. The walls looked a little weird to the rest of the house, but there was a reason for their shape. The center rooms were essentially within a "giant" gyroscope... a place where a Micro could sit comfortably, upright, while the rest of the MH could tilt and move when carried.

And that's exactly what happend. At first, Rachel's fingertips grasped the sides of the building. But her index finger quickly forced itself beneath the foundations while her thumb shifted towards the roof to keep the object in her grasp. This caused the MH to be diagonal for a second before settling upright once more. And then, it was lifted into the air.

The gyro-room was pretty neat. It was essentially a small apartment within a house, everything he needed was in there.. though the downside was that there were no windows. Not that he would see anything except perhaps the details of his sister's fingertips. Lio just sat on the couch and waited.

Rachel walked towards the kitchen, holding her brother's house upright around the height of her bellybutton. With the gyroscope, she could have just held it sideways at her side... But that seemed so unpersonal and unnecessary to her. It was nice she could do such a thing if needed without having to worry about his safety. But still, her brother was in there, not a tictac. She vaguely wondered if Ava would do the same.... or purposefully do the opposite because she thought it fit her whole "eternal teaser" dynamic.

Regardless, Rachel set her brother's MH down on the kitchen table while announcing "Alright we're here."

Moments later, Lio emerged from the building once more, his sister loomed above him. The table was roughly level with Rachel's crotch, she was a tall girl. But instead of staring at the gargantuan shorts in front of him, he craned his neck to look her in the eyes. In moment like these, he was very glad his sister wasn't a busty lady... There would be no chance of seeing her face from this angle.

"Alright, so, Micro-scaled food is the only thing I forgot to get in advance. But as far as I know, the house came with some snacks you probably had for dinner last night....."

There was a pause, clearly some guilt that in all the commotion, she'd forgotten to make sure Lio had dinner. Made sense, for she herself hadn't eaten any last night.

"You're gonna have to deal with eating my scraps this weekend. Should be fine, I'll just set some crumbs aside. A simple ham sandwich sound good to you?"

Lio, of course, didn't blame Rachel. She'd done basically everything else, and he had indeed found some dry snacks to keep his stomach from yelling last night. "Sounds good to me, you can never go wrong with the basics."

Rachel nodded and turned around, facing the kitchen counter. As she got the bread and the knife and the ham, Lio just sat on his doorstep and appreciated his new perspective on a view he had seen countless time in the past decade. Wordlessy, he cursed at Ava for suggesting and teasing things involving his sister. Yes, he was acutely aware she was extremely good-looking. She was 11 years older, but looked 5 years older, at most. She was 185cm tall but seemed proportioned to be at least 12cm shorter... which just made her seem even bigger. She was a stunner and they all knew it. But she was still his sister, the person who raised him. He could acknowledge her beauty but that was it, his mind couldn't comprehend seeing her the way most men in this town did. But why on earth did the adult woman still wear such tight shorts around the house? It was a lot harder to ignore her ass when it was a literal pair of moons. Then again, he had seen Ava walk away a half hour prior, and the shorter lady definitely had the "better" ass.

His trance (he kept having them, was this an effect of being Micro?) was broken by Rachel setting down a plate with a few ham sandwiches. The gargantuan porcelain saucer was placed to the side of his MH, so he wouldn't be hidden from his sister's view. Moments later, he felt another quake as Rachel sat down in her chair. The monolithic woman tore off a miniscule amount of ham and set it down near her brother. The same followed suit with a breadcrumb that was, just like the ham, bigger than he was. Lio was proud he wasn't terrified of the speed at which those huge fingertips moved, only to be proven wrong as it came near once again, placing a drop of soda next to his food. Rachel put her "wet" fingertip into her mouth to clean any remaining soda, and raised an eyebrow at Lio's sudden reaction.

"You okay? It was just some soda."

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, didn't expect it to come a third time." he answered with a nervous chuckle. He felt those green eyes judging his situation for a second, then relaxed as they softened while she smiled.

"Well, can't have a meal without a drink, can you?" Rachel said, shifting her gaze to her own meal. Ham sandwiches were the most basic thing in the world, the type of stuff a kid would bring in their lunchbox to elementary school. And there they were, the size of an entire downtown area.

That wasn't the most humbling part. That honour belonged to Rachel, grabbing one of the sandwiches with her right hand and casually biting a huge chunk out of it. So much material, gone in a second. Even from far below, it was intimidating to see her mouth open wide, a vast cavern with pristine white "towers" designed only to destroy. Then, after she took a bite, he watched her jaws go up and down as they grinded her meal into paste... before finally swallowing.

It was such a casual display of power, and Rachel didn't even realise. If she wanted to, she could devour thousands of Micros at once and they wouldn't be able to do a damn thing. He recalled Rachel telling him that she used to love spicy stuff as a child, but that changed after getting the SDV... Her heightened senses included her taste, so spices were too strong for her now. Lio wondered if goddessess... No, people, what was his mind doing, making divine entities out of his sister and Ava?... Lio wondered if regular-sized people with the SDV senses could taste a Micro.... and how he in particular would seem like to the women in his life....

His thoughts ended when Rachel looked over, having finished half of her lunch already.

"Come on Lio, it's rude to just watch me eat. You need your nutrients as much as I do. Maybe even more with how much a Micro has to move around.""R-right. Sorry sis, I guess I have simply never seen a mountain eat before."

"You just wait until I decide you're more effective than a toothpick."

"WHAT?"
Chapter End Notes:

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a suitable translation to English for "meat between regular bread"? One that isn't that dumb and literal? It's hard, cause a ham sandwich has all this other stuff on it. But I seriously mean only bread and ham.

Sidenote, sorry for the slower chapters. I promise we'll get to some good stuff soon. Next chapter will be after a timeskip so Lio's a little more used to being Micro... and the ladies are more comfortable actually doing stuff.
