“B...B...Big...”

Alex looked up at the large building in front of him. Although “Large” was an big understatement, it was the biggest thing he had ever seen.

Alex was an Indonesian man of the age of 22, and had average height and build although that was rather subjective in a world like this. He had been spending the last couple of weeks on an online dating site talking to a girl named Amy. They had hit it off having many things in common.

Eventually they had decided to meet in person, Alex had easier access to transport so he got her address and area and tried to come up with an image of her in his head based on where she was living.

She was living in Mexico so he figured that there would be a height difference but not like this, this was just so...extreme.

He wasn't even sure if what he was looking at was the right house but he asked a local who had pointed him to this huge building. It was bigger than the city it was next to!

It was pretty obvious that she wasn't a Mexican and it was a little terrifying to think of how big she was, but he had come this far and he knew how great of a person she was so what's to lose?

He had brought a few items with him to start off on the right foot, he had a rather bad dating history, not because he was a jerk or anything like that, they made sure to tell him that for whatever reason but he was always told that he was too tight with his money, he just wanted to make sure that he always had some in case something came up. He had put lots of time into his choices in hopes that she would appreciate his effort.

He eventually reached the front door, daunting as it was, he press the small doorbell meant for his size and waited, eventually he started feeling a disturbance, tremors that got closer and he knew what it was.

“ I wish I had a proper outfit...”

Amy was really excited to meet Alex in person, she had never been on a date before and from what he had told her, he sounded like a really nice guy.

Amy was from the Netherlands, age 22, she was rather tall for her heritage and she made sure to work out at least once a day giving her a toned and fit body. Her work didn't really let her interact too much so she decided to go on an online dating site, she met Alex who had surprised her with the common ground that they had.

Alex had eventually asked if they could meet up, she hadn't expected it so soon but gladly gave her address when he told her that he had cheap transport since she personally knew how bad transport issues could become.

She hadn't really though about what he looked like but she figured that someone as sweet as him didn't have to be Handsome, just as long as he was himself, she would enjoy his company.

As she waited longer and longer, she started getting nervous. What if he didn't like her? No, that was silly to think this far in but everything that he had told her could be a pack of lies, who knows? This was her first relationship after all, she had no experience weeding out the truth. She decided that there was no use worrying about it and to take it as it comes.

She heard the doorbell ring and quickly took a look at herself, due to a problem with her last trip, she had literally no clothes to wear and she knew that it was going to be embarrassing, hopefully he didn't think she was sloppy or anything. And with that, she walked up to the door and opened it up.

To Amy's surprise, there was nobody at the door, she looked down at her feet to see if it was one of the locals but she didn't see anything on the clear stone floor, she was about to step back in when she received a text message from Alex, it read out “look down at your feet again”. She looked down and noticed a small light emitting right next to her right foot.

It was a good thing that Alex had planned the visit around 9pm so he could use the flashlight he had to get Amy's attention. After she crouched down to look at him, Alex turned his light off and waited to see if she could make him out, he knew when she had done that when Amy let out a gasp and looked rather embarrassed at the situation.

Amy didn't even think of how small Alex could be, luckily she had taken many training courses on how to handle such a small person and she had proven to be extremely good at it, good thing for this situation, she used her pointer finger and thumb to pick Alex up and brought him inside and plopped him down on her table and sat down.

Alex remembered that he had brought a “Foreign Relations” headset with him in case he needed to talk to any large person that he couldn't talk with normally, it wasn't anything special but having a globally established communication device was very important for these situations, he sent Amy a text to see if she had one.

What luck! Amy had just received her headset the other day, she put it on and set her frequency to the one Alex specified.

“Hello?”

“Hey, I can hear you. Wow...”

“Heh, so Amy, I didn't really expect you to be so...big.”

“What, are you calling me fat?”

Amy suddenly put an angry look on her face and put her hands on her hips.

“Whoa! That's not what I...”

“Oh my god! You looked so surprised! I'm just messing with you!”

“Wait, you can tell what I look like?”

“Of course! I've got great eyesight and it's required for my job you know!

“Right, right. So why exactly are you wearing such a...revealing outfit? I know we said to wear casual but I didn't think that casual!”

“It's sort of a long story but basically none of my clothes are here yet from my last trip so I have to wear this swimsuit until they get here, it's the only thing I brought with me the way back.”

“Well, no complaints here!”

“What's that supposed to mean?”

“I'm just saying that you're easy on the eyes.”

“To be fair, you're no slouch yourself!”

“Heh, so are we going to sit here flirting all day or are we gonna do something?”

“Well, this was a bit short notice so I managed to get some movies for us to watch and we can also play some games later.”

“Sounds great! And we can get to know each other a little better perhaps?”

“Sounds good!”

After a few moments and selecting a movie, Alex started feeling uncomfortable sitting on a table.

“Hey Amy.”

“Yeah?”

“Do you mind if I lie down on you? This table is really hard.”

“What...Are you sure? I'm not...”

“I'm okay with it, I've never really had much contact with people bigger than me, please?

“Well...All right, I just don't want to hurt you accidentally, there is a rather substantial size difference!”

Amy picked up Alex with incredible dexterity that was very impressive to him. She placed him on her stomach and started watching the movie again. Alex though was rather focused on how warm her skin was, he could hear her heartbeat, the whole situation was so other-worldly to him.

“By the way Alex, you're Indonesian right?”

“Yeah...”

“Then how come your name is Alex? That's a Mexican name!”

“Well, it's a bit of a long story...”
