Chapter 27: Scenarios

Time went slowly in Delta’s Paradise, and not just with respect to the outside world. Every day was a new torture. The very concept of a day seemed to loose meaning.

Clocks were few and far between, and none could be trusted to be accurate even when they showed up as background pieces to one of Delta’s fantasies. There was no indication of the passage of time. People spent days in brightly lit cities, usually the Nexus, as Delta rampaged. Over and over they were crushed under her feet or into her folds. The woman had an unending libido, lust for power, and penchant for cruelty.

Over time, the situations she put people in grew more elaborate. The tan tyrant was unfortunately a very creative sort, though not above drawing on inspiration. She had all recorded human history to work with. In particular, its media.

She was especially fond of games. For a Paradise-month she put all one billion people into a fantasy world. Everyone had levels and equipment to find. For once people didn’t have to wear the stuff they had on the outside, and could dress up as knights or archers and such. People even got to cast small little ‘spells’ to heal one another. It actually would’ve been fun if not for the monsters she put everywhere.

Delta lined the fantasy world with mini-giant versions of herself, each with some form of monstrous trait. People were crushed in the coils of a 100ft tall naga-Delta, or stomped beneath the hoofed foot of a giant succubi version of the woman.

The fantasy towns were constantly under attack by even larger scale monsters. A gigantic demi-dragon Delta surprised the players with an assault on the most populated settlement. Her taloned and scaly feet easily smashed through the castle-town’s walls. The moat itself was but a puddle to the horned monster-woman that stood hundreds of feet tall. She stomped towards the city’s center, effortlessly stomping out any resistance under-tread. A swipe of her tail destroyed countless item stores and habitats.

With a malicious green, the yellow eyed woman reared back her horned human head. Her throat grumbled as she swung her mouth open and burnt the castle to the ground. Once thoroughly immolated, the demi-dragon-Delta body turned her fiery breath towards the fleeing human ‘adventurers’ and the rest of the settlement. She leveled it within an hour at most.

Try as they might, all the adventurers never stood a chance against even the smallest Delta-monster. She never lost, not in here or in any other of her fantasies. The game consisted mostly of trying to find somewhere safe to hide, but it seemed every secluded spot had a Delta-monster-gal or two around. Many were lost to ravenous drider-Deltas or enveloping slime-Deltas in the caves or forests.

Those who tried to hide on ships in the water found their vessels capsized by a gigantic kraken-Delta that roamed the oceans, devouring everything and everyone she came across. Her tentacles were large enough to ensnare even the biggest ships, which she happily cracked in half to shake the contents out into her awaiting maw.

They could tell when she grew bored of the simulation. All one billion adventurers were set atop a floating island high up in a cloudy sky. An angelic looking Delta appeared before the landmass, bigger than any other monster yet. Her eyes shined gold, her skin was a radiant yellow, and innumerable angel-like wings sprouted from her back. For once she had a bit of cloth on her nude form in the form of a few loose wrappings. She spoke with a voice that sounded like it went through pipes of brass before reaching their ears.

“You all are awful at this, so I figured I’d bring you to the final boss: me of course. I even leveled you all to max and gave you the best gear I made. Go on and give me your all~”

Delta hovered in front of the billion+ adventurers as they gave it their all to an allegro melody of organ music which came from nowhere. The transformed-woman set her hands down atop the island before her, so the melee users had something to hit. Warriors broke their magic weapons against her spotless fingernails. Archers saw their arrows bend uselessly against any part of the titanic foe. The casters used their most powerful spells. For a moment that seemed to work, as Delta closed her eyes and grunted, but it quickly became apparent those were noises of pleasure. She was absorbing the ‘magic’ of this game-world and her already immense form grew a bit bigger, cooing all the while.

“Mmm, my turn~” she purred.

Her fingers clenched at the island chunks, tearing into that land as she tugged the floating island close to her front. A motion of her finger and the entire island zoomed up. The front of the mass got clipped under her naked breasts. Chunks fell off the central mass to careen below, carrying millions of lives with them. She wrapped her arms around the entire thing and rubbed and bounce her comparatively modest perky mounds into the masses.

She giggled, “How pathetic, and my turn isn’t even done~”

With a point of her finger she fired beams of searing light below. Her eyes soon joined the fray, scorching everyone with more of that perverse radiance. Another bit of mirthful laughter.

“Let me show you real ‘magic’ while I’m at it~”

The godlike ‘final boss’ snapped her fingers and erupted crackling spheres of black-purple energy all across the platform. Each sphere was a foul distortion of gravity that compressed everyone stuck within to a bloody pulp. Other spheres were darker still, and seemed to just annihilate people from the game-world in a faster, more agonizing and alien fashion.

Only a few million people were left, scarcely a group of specks to the divine-like foe. Delta smiled wide, then opened wider to annihilate them with an enormous beam of raw golden energy. It torrented out her mouth as a thick column of luminescence. The light sung a loud, sibilant, and ringing tune as its heat burnt the island to a crisp.

“Darn, looks like you failed the adventure, and the realm is mine~”

She had everyone watch as disembodied souls while her form grew large enough to cover the entire fantasy world with her foot. Which, of course, she did.

The words “GAME OVER” flashed for them all before she moved to another new torment for the collective minds of humanity.

In one instance, Delta simply lounged at a beach and shrunk everyone down atop her nude form. Here, she ‘restored’ people’s need to drink to live, and their sense of thirst. Her light-brown skin was their desert as they crawled for countless miles across her in the intense heat of the beach. All the while, she lounged on a towel, basking in the virtual sun’s warmth which was harmless to her.

Occasionally, Delta would treat herself to a bottle of water by her side. It stayed impossibly ice cold no matter how long she lounged, and she sighed loud to rub the privilege in. Meanwhile, all of humanity fought over the beads of sweat that her skin produced--a real world feature she allowed for herself in this fantasy. People strangled one another for the most minute drops of the stuff. Even soaking in it was worth killing to most minds, as it provided somewhat cooler temperatures than being dry on her skin.

Eventually, of course, they all died. If thirst didn’t get them, then Delta rolling over onto her side did.

One time Delta even had everyone fight her. She gave them the latest military equipment and vehicles ever produced by humankind: around the time with the climate crisis was reaching its boiling point and just before the Great Misstep. Moreover, she also let everyone enjoy the knowledge needed to effectively use the tools at their disposal: temporarily, of course. There was never really a gift she gave that she didn’t take back by the end of her fun.

She stood outside the Nexus city a mere 5 miles tall while they were tasked to delay and defeat her. Delta set her toes down before the front line, which consisted of myriad tanks and troops with state of the art (at the time) rocket launchers and laser cannons. They blasted away harmlessly at her toes, which wiggled to create lasting tremors.

She taunted them.

“Oooh, what a warm little attack that was. Felt lovely on my feet~”

A single step of hers wiped out tens of thousands of the forces at a time. There was an air force in the form of jets for bombing and fast strikes. Even with the combined skill-sets of the world’s best pilots, they had no shot against her.

The cyber god was too big, and too fast. A dash of her hand sent squads of crafts plummeting to their doom. Others, she took care of with a shake of her head. Her yellow and green strands of hair dashed through the crafts like uncuttable tendrils which each side-to-side shake.

“Pathetic, defeated by a 20 year old’s hair. That’s what humanity has come to~”

She swished up some saliva in her mouth and spat at entire squadrons who couldn’t stand up to the deluge. Delta started to take out the jets by simply pursing her lips and sucking them right into her mouth. After one gulp, she taunted

“As impotent as this force is, at least its delicious~”

Delta raised her foot over the remaining lands forces and stomped over and over again in her taunts. Her tone dripped with mockery as much as her words did.

“C’mon, don’t you want to stop me? I gave you everything humans could ever accomplish. I’ve tortured you over and over, aren’t you just dying to try and punish me? To get revenge? Don’t you want to put me in my place?”

He steps slowed, getting more slow as she drank their deaths in.

“How does it feel, that you can’t even make me feel the most minor sliver of inconvenience? How does it feel to be weaker than the flesh of my toe? How does it feel that your attacks serve only to please me? How does it feel that you can’t even hide your emotions from me. Your anger, your sorrow: it’s all fed into me. I devour it the sweetness it is~”

She raised her foot above the last swath of the forces.

“Everything you do serves me, one way or another. I. Am. Supreme!”

She stomped down, then moved onto the Nexus yet again in this particular fantasy of hers. Whenever she defeated a member of that ‘army’ she had everyone made, they respawned back in their normal garbs as a ‘citizen’ of Nexus again. The city had it’s full population back as she stomped towards it, naked feet shaking the virtual earth.

Delta leveled it with ease in yet another one of her very frequent lewd rampages.

--==--==--==--

A year passed, and the Nexus city became the de facto hub for most people: those other cities she made were presumably gone, though the Nexus itself did exist on a virtual and round Earth still.

There was no such thing as a normal life anymore, nor has there ever been since Delta’s virtual ascension. The tyrant’s yellow eyes were everywhere in the dystopian city she turned into an amalgam of flesh and cityscape. Aside from the literal eyes were the numerous screens, each one filled with a pixelated recreation of that yellow irised eye. Nothing seemed to escape her sight.

It was a fearful life, with the city set under a dark sky. People disappeared on the daily, presumably brought off to private realms for Delta’s pleasures, never to be seen again. People lost their spouses, and their friends. Hope seemed to die slowly as everyone wandered the city, unable to sleep, eat or drink: even for fun.

Yet, through all that, there was a resistance, and at least one person saw the chance to be a hero.
