After rescuing a tiny and falling in love with him, she learns that despite the affection he feels toward her, he still intends to eventually leave her and move on with his life. Distraught at the very idea, she tries to convince him that all humans besides her are murderous monsters, and that staying in her loving hands is simply the safest, best option for her tiny beloved.
NOTE: Despite the story's premise, it isn't a cruel story. In fact, I deliberately avoided giving readers an objective view of the world so it is up to you to decide whether or not Daria's actions are for the best.
