Well, I guess once this is all over, company policy could be to give shares of the company to any shrunk employees and residents, would certainly encourage people to come live in the 1:2000th city, should be a good enough sorry to the existing victims (on top of anything else) and way to prevent someone like Jazmine and her dad from coming in and doing anything. 
But lets see what happens before then, since that Is the point if the story.
