I think I've got this story sussed. I like it because of the use of old 1960s TV shows, but most of the readers on this forum were born after 1985. Hence the shortage of reviews.

Author's Response: Well, much as I love the original series, the sequels to the reunion movie were too much like FANTASY ISLAND. So, in this divergent universe? Insert villainous laughter, here.
