Just have to say loving this Omega universe you have created Ackbar with the help of Jacksmith. Not good at writing reviews but here are my thoughts.

This has to be my favorite story since it has so much emotion. Ashley learning about consenquences that one might receive for doing unforgiveable acts even if they where "harmless". Ashley being shown life lessons by Melody and her friends and seeing them in a new light. Claire and Jenna risking their friendship with Ashley proving how much they really care about her. Then we have Melody the one I liked the most in the story truly showing how much she loves her little sister. I feel like Melody went through the most pain having to endure her little sisters suffering holding back from just grabbing Ashley and holding her in her arms showrering her with affection. What got me was the soul-crushing Melody had to put up with each time Ashley asked for help or just a look from her big sister. Enjoyed that Melody snuck in some "hugs" with her toes trying to tell her sister everything is ok. Melody crying while telling her sister how much she loves her and that she will do anything to protect her since she is the most precious person to her made my heart melt (there are too many stories where sibling shrinks and is treated like crap).

At the end im glad Ashley was able to see how much they truly love her even after she saw her big sisters in a new light and still being friends as seen in Omega Other Foot. Couln't have asked for a better ending than with Ashley being in Melodys arms being showered with love and affection from her big sisters.

Hoping we get a true sequel with Ashley and the question about what if an Alpha had Omega genes. Maybe even a story with Ashley and Melody bonding more, Melody still suffering from what she did trying to make it up to Ashley.

Thanks for all the great stories Ackbar and Jacksmith can't wait to see more of this universe.

A lovely chapter that captured Ashley's situation beautifully along with the emotions of her three bigger companions.

I looked forward to the next installment.

Author's Response:

Thank you. Hopefully I can get a new installment in something out in the near future.

Awesome ending. Nothing more to be said.

EDIT: Review No. 100 biotches!

Author's Response:

But I demand dissertations! ;_;

In all seriousness, thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.

And man, I did not expect this little 8 chapter thing to get 100 reviews. Thanks everyone :3

Loved the final chapter! I'm never one to complain about a soft, warm, mushy ending. :)

Definitely looking forward to seeing Ashley's relationship with Jack and other Betas after this event.

Author's Response:

I love mush, as well. Despite what I write at times, I really am a softy gentle fan at heart.

Thanks for reading and reviewing :)

A very pleasant end. Despite the tease at the end of the previous chapter, I was guessing this was how it would go down. I liked how you hinted at the mentality of the recovering Ashley and specifically on her realization that she's a lot less powerful than she once thought. It helped give the otherwise saccharine proceedings of this chapter an undercurrent of slight foreboding. Initially I was hesitant to totally buy the rapid turnaround of her friends and sister, but you did a nice job in justifying it with their dialogue in this chapter. Fine work here with this tale, good sir. Keep it up.

Author's Response:

I was extremely, extremely tempted to have the mother involved but by this point I was very much in denoument territory (I basically consider Ashley throwing up to be the general climax) and a confrontation with the mother wasn't something I wanted to do (also because I want her first real appearance to be elsewhere). Though I'll say that this was primarily because it would have given me a chance to show how passively imposing Melody can be even to another Omega in the right circumstances.

I'm glad the dialogue turned you around on the, uh, turnaround. It was important to me to establish the sincerity in why they did what they did, that the loving environment presented is very much the norm.

Thank you for reading, and for the kind words :)

Something like what?...Lazer vision?...Cause if it's lazer vision I will just FLIP!

Anyway this chapter is nice. It hits me right in the feelings. They still lurve each other! It's human nature that they would want to stay friends and it's good that the omegas acknowledged that they were kind of jerks and the understand if Ashley will HATE THEM FOREVER! like everyone wants. I don't see that happening but at the same time I don't see anyone forgetting a damn thing either. When you do more with Ashley it would be interesting to see just how this fun little afternoon effected her and her niave preconcieved notions of the world. Poor little girl just lost her innocence....but that's for another day.

I would personally be interested in the past. Those dark years where it was apha versus omega and a person was squashed flat just for sneezing on a beta and alphas went to bed in fear of the 200 foot boogey man.

Author's Response:

We'll have to see eventually :P

I'm looking forward to revisiting Ashley at some point, and I have a small idea for a little short (much shorter than this) that I could have some fun with. There's a hint to what that might be in this chapter, amusingly enough.

Actually, the tallest Omega tops out at 164 feet. Related fact: Melody is actually the third tallest of all Omegas!

I know I was harsh on the girls before but I actually like how this story turned out.  Primarily, I feel like Melody's determination to be her sister's shield is what saves that relationship.  And drawing the ire in her sister's stead starts to repay the actions of being the one to carry out the punishment.

Hopefully as they converse in the weeks and years to come, their relationship roles won't seem as tenuous and fragile as they appeared during this story.  Rather that they'll realize the power in those relationships flows both ways.  Ashley feels like her sisterly bond and friendships are subject to the whims of the three girls, (at least right now she thinks that).  Is it wrong to think she could just as easily devastate them if she decided to hate them forever?

I hope to see you further explore these and other themes in future stories.

Author's Response:

It really was important to me, going in, to have the girls do what they felt they needed to do to teach the lesson and then take anything further onto themselves after Ashley fully understood what she did. I couldn't see them doing what they did then leaving Ashley with whatever punishment their mother deemed was fitting and whatever any of their classmates felt they should do, nor could I see them trying to hide away from the punishments that are awaiting them for breaking the rules.

Oh she could, easily. The problem is that the girls have already decided on their own that they're willing to bear that possibility if it means she doesn't have to experience certain other things. Mostly, it's the fact that she's gone from a relationship built on perceived equality to one where she's only equal insofar as what Melody and her friends allow.

Thank you for reading, I hope I can get to some of these things eventually.
