I can't help thinking how Judy Stevens would react in this situatuion (or if it happened to someone else in her world) - overjoyed? panicked ("PMRD causes addiction, study says")?

Author's Response: Judy would likely have some strong feelings, even if the more “overjoyed” thoughts were kept to herself, to maintain her reputation.
