A mutation has manifested in the human population. Effecting only females, it has caused those chosen few to reach heights on an average of 500 feet. Society has struggled to adapt to these developments, but there has been genuine efforts of integration. These woman were thus dubbed, "giantesses," although many nicknames emerged, some flattering, some neutral, and some degrading.

The largest challenge was to provide resources. It was found out early on that this mutagen could be isolated, and spliced into other organic material, such as plants and animals. This allowed at the very least the basic necessities for food and shelter. Technology adapted, allowing greater infrastructure and integration with these new titanic women.

Another challenge, of course, was bringing these titanesses under the rule of law. Overwhelming military resources are required to subdue just one giantess. Sometimes, however, due to the massive strength and power these women possessed, the law would look the other way.
