Four vignettes, written last autumn as part of a "Shorts" writing week where I labored at penning down a small short story a day.

Inventing something to change size at will might be revolutionary... unless you lose control and start to shrink endlessly. Only Palmyra's intervention might give the slightest chance of survival for her neighbor... Perhaps only a fool's dream.
