Flashes of lightning and roaring wind filled the sky as David was sent spiraling towards the ground in a large metal coffin, the right side of the contraption providing no buffer between him and the open sky as it had long since disappeared into the night leaving him holding on to his seat for dear life in order to not be sucked out and plummet to his death.

The next thing David knew all was silent and black, his head was throbbing with so much pain that he couldn’t even tell which direction was up, of course that was probably due more to the fact that the plane was now dangling upside down in a flurry of vines and branches before eventually breaking loose and plummeting the rest of the way down to the ground.

The next thing David knew the caws of exotic birds and chirps of strange insects could be heard in the distance from inside David’s current residence at the medicine woman’s hut, making him groggily open his eyes to see the early rays of sunlight shining through the cracks of the walls.

“Uughhh” he groaned in pain as he pulled himself up from his bed of pelts and leans against the bamboo supports encasing the structure, “Shiiiit” David hissed out as he ran his hands down the length of his legs finding that while the initial swelling had gone down they both remained very tender and sore to the touch.

He wasn’t exactly sure on just how long he had been wherever he was as he had only been keeping track the last couple of weeks, but if he was to wager a guess he’d say he it had probably been closer to a month.

While he hadn’t been able to move around so easily during his stay he was kept confined to the village’s medicine hut in order to more easily treat his wounds and monitor his condition should he have gotten an infection or something even more severe, or at least that’s what he was able to understand from them.

He was surprised at first when he found that the natives of this remote jungle area in the middle of nowhere were able to communicate with him, albeit not fluently but enough so that he could understand what they were saying and they could just as easily understand what he had to say, creating a fractured but still somewhat coherent dialect between him and the few people who had come to see him.

What surprised him the most though was the size of everyone here, it was as if they all casually walked around like they weren’t easily more than twice his size, and that was just the couple of women he had seen so he couldn’t imagine just how tall some of the guys around here would be.

“Ahh-rrghhh” David suddenly growled in pain from trying to pull himself up the wall and stand up on his own two feet for the first time since he first arrived, before very quickly buckling at his knees and falling to the ground with a dull thud.

His little attempt though, as small as it may have seemed, was simultaneously the furthest he had gotten to standing on his own the entire time he was here and the furthest he had fallen in any of his previous attempts, making him hopeful for the future despite the throbbing pain currently shooting down both legs.

They weren’t broken, but they were close to it, at least that was what the medicine woman had told him, leading David to believe that he may have just had fractures of some caliber running through his lower limbs as there was no way for this small secluded village to know about the internal damages to a human body without actively cutting someone open.

David laid on the ground for a while, quietly thinking to himself about what happened that night, thinking about what he could have done to make things different, and thinking about how lucky he was that he had managed to survive all that.

Then a pang of guilt came over him as he thought about his fiancé Kim, and how he couldn’t do anything other than watch as she was sucked out of the side of the little biplane they were in and helplessly sent careening down into the canopy of trees below before his very eyes.

Yes they may have been in a bit of a rough patch in their relationship but what couple doesn’t have the occasional, or even daily in their case, argument or screaming match with one another, but David had thought maybe a vacation was what the two of them needed in order to get away from everything else and just reconnect with each other.

“What a mistake that turned out to be” he thought to himself as he slowly crawled across the ground to prop himself up against the other side of his enclosure just in time to watch as his caretaker the medicine woman entered her hut to find him awake and waiting for her.

David couldn’t help but stare in awe every time he saw her, how her body glistened with a sheen of sweat that covered every inch of her statuesque body, how her muscles rippled with every step she took, and how she carried herself with an elegant grace not many her size could possibly come close to matching.

As tall as she was though, being around eighteen to even twenty feet tall at his closest estimation, she wasn’t even the tallest person he had met the entire time he was here as the two other women who had been so kind as to check in on him were easily a head taller than her at least.

It made him feel small and tiny in comparison at first but over time David eventually came to accept that this was just the case for the people in this region and tried not to dwell to much on it, instead focusing more on healing himself for the time being so that he could hopefully make his way back to civilization one day soon.

Zú, as the medicine woman had introduced herself as, was currently hauling in a rather large amount of plants and flowers slung over her shoulder and tucked under her arm for what David could only guess would be for more ‘medicine’ as the people here had called it.

He shouldn’t judge them to harshly on their own terms about the medical field, their old timey caveman hoodoo means had saved his life after all, but his concerns still lingered here and there.

“What’s all that for” David asked Zú as she propped the larger stalks of plant life against the side of her hut before tossing her bundle of flower heads on a nearby flat stone, “Hmm, milkroot…for pro-duc-ers” she said in response her english clearly having improved greatly from their many earlier discussions.

“Oh…it’s that for more…z-zluhú” David said trying to remember what the name for the stuff these plants made was, “Nhhh, X’luhu come from…red buds” Zú said motioning to one of the many many many flower heads across from her as she began sorting her grassy stalks “Milkroot…for…drink” she said carefully choosing the words she spoke.

“Oh well that clears up a lot then huh” David said to himself earning a quick side glance from the towering woman beside him, “Milkroot…not concern for Da’véd” Zú said with a stern look on her face making David put his hands up in defense “Okay okay I was just joking alright” he said trying to defuse the situation before it started.

“And it’s David by the way, not Da’véd, and I know you know that” David said with a little smirk and a quiet laugh as the giant woman looked back at him with squinted eyes, “I know…Da’véd” she said with her own little smirk before both let out their own gut filled laugh.

With their short time together the two had actually managed to create a bit of an unlikely friendship, what with Zú being the only person David saw on a regular basis and David being a source of new and interesting knowledge, they had undoubtedly earned one another’s trust, and quite possibly their respect, simply by being human enough to engage with one another.

Shortly after Zú got her plants the way she wanted them she walked into David’s little area and carefully scooped him up into her arms before holding him to her chest, gently cradling him against her breast as if he were a baby and making him brush against the spotted cheetah fur that made up that half of her multi pelt made outfit, or maybe it was a jaguar David never was to good at knowing which animals lived where.

Zú carried her little house guest over to a small and rudimentary, but still practical, bamboo shelf that held a myriad of items and trinkets and tools to her profession and grabbed an empty wooden bowl and a clay pot from one of the middle shelves before sitting down on the dirt floor of her house and laying David across her lap.

“Do we have to do this now” David asked apprehensively as Zú reached over to a nearby water bladder and pulled the stopper off by her teeth, “No…you may drink first…Da’véd…if you want” she said as she poured a thick creamy white liquid into the wooden bowl “But you will…be…smeared with the paste once you are done”.

“It is for…your own good” Zú said before David could even begin to voice his protest earning an annoyed look from him in response, “…fine just give me the bowl then” he said after a moments thought not really seeing any feasible way out of this “I might as well enjoy my morning before it goes to shit”.

“Agreed” Zú said with a small smile as she raised the partially filled bowl to David’s mouth before gently tipping it over and letting the smooth sweet liquid flow into his mouth, “Gulp gulp gulp” David couldn’t help but to down as much of this addicting liquid as he could, finding it to be the most pleasant part about being in his current situation.

“Slow Da’véd…slow” Zú instructed as she watched the tiny man in her lap drink up her people’s signature drink with great eagerness fearing that he may even swallow and choke on his own tongue at the rate he consumed it.

Before either of them knew it thought the bowl was empty and David had even begun holding the brim as if he could make more appear out of thin air and drip down into his gullet, “Gasp, huff huff huff, this stuff is…wow” was all he could say as he tried to catch his breath before looking into the deep green eyes of Zú finding a sympathetic gaze staring down at him.

“Sigh…just get it over with” he said quietly not looking forward to what was about to happen in the slightest, “I am…sorry Da’véd…I truly am” Zú said as she began to wiggle the torn remains of his clothing off David’s body “It is not a…easy thing for either of us”.

David’s clothes, which he had insisted that he still be able to wear despite the being ripped apart, slightly charred in certain places, and stained with a little bit of blood, were ever so carefully placed on the ground, leaving him naked as Zú took the top off the clay pot beside her before dipping her fingers into the thick mud like substance inside it.

The stuff as David had come to learn was what helped him heal from the initial burns he had suffered during his accident, it worked wonders but felt like he was being burned all over again every time Zú reapplied it to his now only blistered skin.

Two mud covered fingers delicately ran over his chest, sending waves of excruciating pain through David’s raw tender skin and making him reach up and grab ahold of Zús breast through her pelt as a way of trying to keep himself on the ground.

The iron like grasp was lost on Zú however who felt it more akin to a light pinch than anything else, “Shhhhh Da’véd…it is almost done” she said trying her best to sooth her patient as she

began to finish up on his lower extremities.

“Gah hah ughhh” David couldn’t help but cry out in pain as his whole body tensed up in response to him being ‘healed’ as everyone was calling it all while being held in place against Zús lap until the unbearable pain finally subsided.

“Gahhhuughh…can’t you water that shit down” David said as the burning mud eased up before letting go of Zús giant boob unintentionally pulling part of her top down with him, “I could yes…but you would be…dead Da’véd” Zú said caressing David in one hand while fixing her top with the other.

David couldn’t help but watch as the giant woman holding onto him fondled her own tit, making her rack jiggle and sway with every single movement she made while also giving him a good look at her perky taut dark brown nipple, which she tried to fit it back into her sewn together pelt single handedly.

All in all things could be worse for David, a lot worse considering where he came from, but for now he just needs to work on getting back on his feet, literally, and try to find someway out of this jungle.
