You're right. I guess I was in a hurry and I missed that detail. Rookie mistakes. The general idea was that the dream was the manifestation of Jon's anger at what her mother had supposedly done and in his fury the boy wanted to forget her. But it is very little time... you are right.

My experience with this story and these characters over the last 4 days have been wild. I first discovered this story and I was immediately enthralled by the writing skills and the sense of scale I could tell this story was one I would be in for the long haul. So I decided to stop reading at chapter 7 of this story and read your previous work to enjoy the original first before I can truly have fun with the remake and let me tell you best decision I’ve made all 2025. The old draft of resonance has done something no story on this sight has made me do and that’s cry and recommend it to my freinds. The ending to the original draft honestly destroyed me in a good way. Me having read your original draft has made me look at this story in a whole new light. I can see your writing skills have heavily improved to make the story more streamlined and concise. I have also noticed some changes so I’m really exited to see where the story goes and hopefully I take the ending to this story way better than the last one. I want to thank you for sharing this with us and taking your time to show us your craft and how your mind works. I am truly honored to have been able to find and a read your work

Thank you for you kind words. I, too, like the idea of this story reaching a greater audience that is outside of our macrophilia space. I hope to improve in this revised version where as the original story faltered, specifically more world explorations and side characters build ups.
