Anyway... Another excellent chapter. What interest me the most is that apparently, Futanaris are a rather novel thing in this world. I wonder then who will end with Rembrandt. I can't see a trio ending with them, but it'll be a funny ride anyway.

An excellent story, even if I'm kind of afraid of what it'll turn into, now that Jason has appeared.

I'm a big softy at heart, and I don't want Ben stuck as a dust mite when Jason and Heather e probably ending playing Gods together.

Usually, cruelty isn't my cup of tea at all. But here it works smoothly because of the larger story and the development of the characters, who aren't just shallow asses.

I wonder, however, how the truth will break out. I guess the true criminal could have hacked into the house cameras - if there is any - and send it for the world to see. It would utterly destroy the Giantesses image of benevolent and wise rulers and qhatter the souls of the two main women of the story. In any case, it seems that the end is nigh and I can't wait to read it.

Stellar chapter. I feel bad for Rose. magnolia ? Magnolia Rose ? The big giantess, Elliot's mom. I hope that at some point, she'll be able to break and armor and really show her son how much she loves him and she wouldn't trade him for the world. Hopefully it wouldn't necessitate him being in danger, it'd be great for Mom to do so in a more subdued way (perhaps sharing an evening watching something Elliot wants to see and opening up at that moment?). 

Can't wait to read more.

Also, is Hilda the only decent member of her family ?

Should have started commenting here because the chapters are all excellent. It rekindled my drive to write, even if I don't think I can compare myself to that level of technique !

Really feel sorry for poor Drew - he was probably a little intoxicated himself with all the alcohol he got on him and breathed, plus the whole insane situation. And even felt a tinge of pity for Casey : peoples of her bracket and above are such dicks that the idea of forging something with them beyond a few friendship with the dumbest ones like Ariel seems all but impossible. Obviously she'd end being attracted by Drew in a way. He fulfils all her fantasies and then some.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that Drew's situation will remain largely the same until the next census. Casey won't be able to bring him there of course, since his friends will probably at least have filled a missing person report. And Taylor will probably have reached another milestone, perhaps even entering Casey's bracket? Giantess rescue mission and a kaiju battle, with Drew looking at them in the distance while telling the earrings men "Let them fight" ?

Golly, Susan's really completely insane. Like, Joker-level crazyness. She basically married someone just to remain tall. Like, what the fuck?

I hope Casey will get revenge for her dad and will also grew up figuratively - and literally - in future chapters !

After having mulled over it it seems that one of the reviewers of Inheritance was right when he (or she) suspected that Bridget was done with being an Enforcer.

It even seems possible that she is done with believing in the dream of Kayla and thus her situation is all the more painful : her individuality doesn't believe that Betas are inherently good, that Omegas also are and that Alphas are an unpredictable variant... But the Fire in her does.

Sanctuary also seems to raise an important question : what do you do with immortal half-gods who have, for whatever reason, stopped believing in the Dream of Kayla ? And how many are there after barely a century or so of existence for the Omegas ? 

Perhaps it's precisely their hability to still relate to humans around them (mostly Alphas but also Betas) in a human way which hurts and compromise them, in which case it means that the older and more detached they'll become, the less they will be prone to this sort of rejection of the Fire.

Which is worrying in itself of course. Both because even younger Omegas may have difficulties dealing with their older peers and because it'll make the world order more set in stone and unable to evolve as needed.

Stellar work, as always. I honestly wondered what Alma's role would be in this story when we started focused on her and Jenna - who really is both frightening and distasteful as a human being also, but I wonder if it is her fault of a sad result of how Omega were created. 

I'll be interesting to see Lexi going to seek out Bridget now, even if I expect her sister to still put up quite a fight instead of giving in to her wish to come back home.

Oh the goosbumps ! 

I guess it's only natural for Lexi to feel like that about Evelyn who, in the end, never hurt her directly. Also, it seems she suffered quite the odreal during all those months trying to hold to her dignity until she realized there was no shame using Kayla's money.

But damn... Bridget in Sanctuary ? It feels like she still is in a mental health facility then...

Well now wasn't it worth the wait ? 

There is something quite interesting in Bridget's guilt crafting this sort of nightmare because, in a sense, it could well be the way Omegas would go, down the line. If they live, say, ten thousand years, how will they see Alphas ?

Betas are protected by the Fire but Alphas aren't. I guess this story will be exploring what drives the Omegas and will force them to confront ugly truths about themselves. I do wonder how far you went just for the title alone, honestly !

I'll probably read this chapter several times over in the 'ext few days but I can say it was supremelly interesting to see that even after two years Bridget can still suffer so much from her guilt... And that she can still try to wring a martyr complex out of it.

Can't wait to see Lexin confronting her sister just to make her understand that her so called penance is just a way to avoid dealing with the consequences of her actions.

Also, quite intriguing that Bridget wasn't offered some excellent psychiatrists. I suspect a part of her do believe Alphas are impure and Betas are innocence. The Fire in her talking perhaps. But you'd expect her kind to want her back in good shape sooner rather than later. As it is, it's almost as if Omegas didn't know how to deal with that trauma and are thus loosing a previouy excellent Enforcer who is, clearly, not fit for the job right now.
