Wow! This did not go the direction i expected. Seems like Alex has known her share of heartache- could she just be a lovesick woman hiding behind a rough visage? Also, im not convinced yet that the attendants are all done away with. But, I'm probably wrong.

Seriously though- good story. Formatting was a bit jarring, but otherwise an enjoyable quickie. I'm quite partial to the descriptions and espeically to the 'just desserts' mentality. Good stuff, hope to see more from you.

Whoa! Quite the brutal selection process. Also, very interesting concept to have some have the 'factor' as you put it- I am very curious to see how elena maintains (or maybe loses) her humanity during her growth (I assume) into one of the colossi.
I hope that krieg gets her just desserts in the end. What a cruel (albeit intriguing) bastardette.

Jeeeeeez. Those dreams are pretty vivid. Especially the last one- nothing more terrible than inadvertent destruction. Perhaps it's a vision of things to come? That would be terrifying. I hope Elena can deal with the challenges that are no doubt before the redhead.

Hey man- I hope that you continue this story. It's one of the better ones I've seen on here recently- compelling characters and a very intriguing plot line. Please don't let a lack of reviews set you back, if such is the case. You fucking rock as a writer.

Well ain't this a treat. Happy to see a sequel to the first. Jojo's relationship is a stranger side, but after six years of near isolation, can one really blame him? Not trying to excuse his actions, but this seems uncharted territory for both he and daisy. I'm unsure were this will go, but I hope daisy and Jo can come out on top. Hell, even if something not so good for Jo happens, this ought to be a great tale. Great stuff, asterisk.

Can't say I blame jojo for his mixed feelings. Really nice of his sister to step up to the plate, though. I wonder if she'll take to it...

Very happy to see this chapter fully edited and posted- excellent stuff. Again, Caitlin does have a point- Jessica is not exactly in a position to argue- not when she consumes so much more resources that others. Still- modeling would beat out the other suggestions we discussed via email (though, it would be kinda hot to see Jessica let loose and plow through a condemned building for demolition). Lastly, there's something very captivating about this chapter- it's a rising action, it feels like all the build up prior to this is coming to a logical conclusion. I hope Jessica continues to learn more about herself and her abilities- and if she decides to do modeling, I think she'll be great at it. Also, super cute the way Jack carried on about Jessica. :)

I hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out but what I've released so far has built up into this moment, an entire arc of the story. After this, it would be something else entirely as she jumps into all this. I would not mind seeing Jessica use building demolition as a way of venting, punching entire blocks down because she needs to release that stress in a healthy way.
