This is rather good. The only other story I can think of where one of the creations actually manages to wrest the story away from the author is Chester, by Melanie Watt.

Thank you! Is it really that rare to have a character take control? There's a lot of fertile ground there for size stories, I'd think.

Tulsa is kind of your own fault. Now you're trapped.
Maybe you can write her a letter about why she should let you go, since you're a good writer. That will probably help

Fulda isn't really one for written correspondence, or any correspondence at all, actually. She prefers to make her thoughts known by stepping on people. I don't think there's anything I could do to convince her to grow me back, let alone let me go. I'm basically her prisoner, for better or worse.
