Set in the same world as my other stories The Masks of Gods and The Sons of Men, this story follows several different characters set in the American plains/south. Set nearly six years after the giants first arrive on earth, In the Shadow of the World revolves around the day to day struggles of both giants and humans alike. A pragmatic but ultimately troubled giantess named Keirsien must learn to cope with both the physical and psychological stress of this strange new world. Meanwhile, a roguish drifter named Sharpe must put aside his selfish ways to save his new family. Saryl, a paranoid giantess with a haunted past, is forced to make some unconventional allies all while the anxiety addled Loyolla is forced to join a violent gang of criminals. This story is chock-full of plot and I'm hoping to reignite interest in this world. The point of view will switch around a good bit and I'm going to experiment with narration so at times it may implement some stream of consciousness. Anyway I hope you all enjoy! Finding himself inexplicably shrunk down to the size of a bug, Noah must find a way to survive the hustle and bustle of his town’s outdoor shopping plaza. This story will feature mostly crush/trample situations with sneakers/boots, unaware situations, with possible vore situations and other macro fun! 

NOTE: I wanted to write a story with some of my preferred aspects of typical GTS fiction, so expect more focus on footwear and unaware scenarios. Also, if you're a big fan of massive scale and a more realistic portrayal of what being bug-sized might be like, this one may be for you!  

Hidden from the view of the mundane hustle and bustle of modern life, supernatural beings live among human society.  One gathering place for the young Devils of the Underworld is Kuoh Academy.  Several prominent Households from the Underworld have family members and servants who attend classes at the school, including both the Gremory and Sitri Clans, and their peerages fulfill contracts throughout Kuoh city when summoned by humans that learn of their existence and services.  Among the peerages of prominent Underworld Clans is the peerage of Hyoudou Issei, a former human who recently got promoted to High-Class Devil.

These groups coexist peacefully with one another, the Hyoudou and Gremory peerage sharing especially close relations due to the fact that the leader of the former was once a part of the latter’s peerage… and still has several fiancés who love him in the Gremory peerage, including Rias Gremory herself.  However, from such close relations, rivalries between the girls seeking Issei’s attention were bound to pop up.

James loves his life. Though, one day, his best friend, Yuna, and his sister, Faith, get convinced he is a perverted masochist. Will he manage to prove them wrong ? Will they let him ?
