A Shrinks’ Demise

Shrinks’, a sub-human species that have lived among for generations on such a minuscule scale. They are nothing more than the size of an ant. A small toe or alone a pinkie finger would still pose a great challenge against them, even worse, enough to make them perish with enough force. Shrinks’ are fascinating yet delicate creatures. They are rather human just by how they speak and communicate. At times, they are seen as pests or if one is daring enough, they can be pets. Shrinks’ come and go, they’re in great population, although, rare they will meet other colonies. They aren’t the smartest, nor the dumbest, some may be in between the two or the most unfortunate. They do what they can to survive, commonly stealing materials or salvaging food scraps. 

In this new series, this story will focus mix narration of unaware and aware situations. A dynamic where giant people seek to exterminate, care or do what they wish to Shrinks'. Lucy, a college girl had come aware to some on a bench. One by one, they fall down. For the one that survives, will they stick around for long?

Tales of Lihyrst - Territory Predicaments

Lihyrst, the land of big and small. A super continent that supports many living beings in this fantasy land. To Monster Girls, Mythic Creatures, Elves, normal Size Humans (Norms'), and considered the biggest predator of all are Gicadians. Gicadians are almost like Norms’-sized people, however, they are bigger, much bigger than actual Norms’. They range from sizes of 50 to 300 feet.

The geography of Lihyrst is diverse and unique, just like the cultures that exist in the occupied lands. From hot deserts, and forestry, to cold snow and mountains, Lihyrst has much to offer. Norms' explorers are at a disadvantage when it comes to exploring, there is a lot to explore at such a scale they are born into - big risks as well as there are many dangers to be considered. The Norms' have occupied the continent of Lihyrst for an unknown length of time just as Gicadians did. As for right now the Norms’ have established numerous capitals that are considered a haven - but all have their own set of rules,  geography, and problems. Maps have been created for generations, however, not many have set off to the seas and made it back alive. The land that’s outside the map is considered ‘The No Man’s Land’ as you are at risk of not coming back alive.

Secrets are to be revealed, but here in Lihyrst, there are plenty of stories to tell as Gicadia isn’t the only place having its own conflicts. This is Tales of Lihyrst, many stories from different perspectives you will experience in this series.

◈ This will be my kick-off introduction to my Tales of Lihyrst series inspired by roleplays I have done and collectively put together a world building process over the years. 
◈ This is a fantasy driven story, I am continuously growing ideas and alterations along the way. As always, expect me to be on the Limitless side when it comes to writing, current tags are not finalized. You've been warned as cruel and bloodshed may be included in future stories.

The Shrinking Rapture. An incident that is unexplained that has effect the human population. Shrinking at an instant but at a slow rate in terms of population. A slow rate where humans have falsely accused these ‘missing’ individuals to be kidnapped or some related serious crime. Little did they know these victims shrunk at an instant rate, half the size of a grain of rice or smaller. The clothes they wore would shrink along with them, which further proved that these victims were kidnapped or never noticed to be missing until it was too late. Anyone can be a victim. Survival rates varies and is uncertain given the individuals situation and location. Even if you did get attention from a normal size human, how would the tiny react? Or how would the human react? Shrunken individuals could easily be mistaken for a bug. Here's to hoping the right girl finds you.

This story will focus on Jackson. A guy who would be sharing an apartment with a girl he had a neutral relationship with. A girl he had gone to school with and once again they met after not long of graduation year due to financial reasons. Jackson has to fight to survive from his roommate as she continues her everyday life. Being so tiny, so insignificant due to him being part of The Shrinking Rapture, Hannah had no idea someone would be spying on her, what secrets are to be revealed? What would a tiny guy like him do in this situation?
