Shadowing a teacher who also coached their school's girls soccer team, she was forced to be present at their games as well. After a crushing defeat at the hands of a team from out of town, while she waited for the tearful huddle to end so she could go home, a member of the opposing side decided she wanted a small trophy to remember their victory by.
